Applications should be mailed to the Office of Graduate Programs, 251 Thompson Library, Flint, MI 48502-1950, USA. Application forms may be requested at no charge, downloaded electronically, or you may apply online.
The application deadline for the 2009-2010 cohort has passed. If you are interested in applying to future cohorts, please email gp@umflint.edu.
Your application must include:
- An application form (available as a pdf file or by request from the Office of Graduate Programs).
- Official transcripts from each college and university attended, sent directly from that institution to the Office of Graduate Programs, The University of Michigan-Flint, 251 Thompson Library, Flint, MI 48502-1950.
- Three letters of recommendation from people who know your academic and/or professional work.
- A Statement of Purpose, which should touch on:
- Your education and career experience so far.
- Your career goals for the future.
- Your current technology-related skills and experiences.
- Subject matter and/or types of partners that would be of particular interest to you.
- What you hope to gain from the program.
- A $55 application fee (non-refundable) payable to the University of Michigan-Flint (credit card is required if submitting an online application)
You are
not required to take the GRE or other standardized tests for your application.
If you need extra time to obtain transcripts or recommendations, please note this when you submit your application.
